A Day At Goodwood Motor Circuit For The Saywell International Trackday
This past Saturday at Goodwood Motor Circuit I went along to the Saywell International Trackday where some of the rarest and most exclusive supercars attend to head out on track in order to raise money for charity. Here is a look at some of the cars I saw. Let me start of by showing you the cars brought along by the Saywell Collection:
Yes, these are all from one collection! From a McLaren Senna to a 1 of 1 Pagani Zonda, this collection has just about every modern supercar you could think of and that is only some of the cars. A car I have not included in the images above is Peter’s choice of car for taking out on track, which is the Ferrari SF90 XX, a limited run more track focused Supercar from Ferrari, which you can see images of and read more details about bellow.
The Ferrari SF90 XX. I have been lucky enough to experience some passenger laps in this car a few times now and I must say that for a modern day Ferrari it is utterly brilliant, it boasts an insane 1016 hp from its 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 with three electric motors, with a claimed 0-62 MPH time of just 2.3 seconds! It is no surprise why this is the car of choice for doing laps out on track in. It is also the first Ferrari since the Ferrari F50 to have a fixed rear wing and I think you will agree with me when I say it makes the SF90 just look so so cool.
As far as car collections go, the Saywell Collection is certainly up there with one of the greatest UK car collections in terms of the number of modern supercars and hypercars and it is always very exciting to see what new cars have joined the collection throughout the year. Bellow are some more images taken at the trackday on Saturday, with cars from an old 911 RSR to new 911 GT3 RS’, people certainly like Porsche at these events.
